Young Democrats Downstate
Downstate YD's are participating in this election cycle in full force. Ty Bates of County is campaigning to be a member of the Marion County Board. As a member of the County Board Ty will help establish a budget and oversee county government. This is an awesome responsibility and Ty Bates is an awesome candidate. He is bright, educated and a hard-worker. He is a correctional officer and wants to do much to stop young people from entering prison system. Also, he is a family man, he and his wife, Carrie are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl. (Like a good Democrat he named his daughter Kennedy).I ask all my readers and supporters to donate to Ty. A few dollars go a long way, especially in Southern Illinois :-).
