This blog is for Kristopher Anderson, Treasurer of the Young Democrats of America. I will also include information relating to the Young Democrats of Illinois and Young Democrats of Cook County.
Thank you for visiting. My life's interest rest in politics and public policy. I begin law school this fall and I ask for your prayers and your support. I want to be a corporate attorney because there is a need for more persons of color in these roles. However, regardless of my job I will always be an advocate. I thank my mother, Sherma E. Sallee-Anderson for making me the man that I am. I also thank my father and my two sisters for their undying love and support. Last, praise the Lord for his mercy and I thank the Lord for you all.

Good looks 20%
Charisma 20%
Independent wealth (or means to attain donors) 10%
A political organization or major sponsor 25%
Excellent education credentials 20%
Good Luck 5%
Howard Handler is a perfect example.
To be involved in politics a person must have a driven attitude to make a difference for the good of the community, a leader who has the right credentials and a specail aura that others can look at and acknowledge a natural born leader. I think it takes patience to be involved in plitics, there are elements that can be negative at times, but that is an example, anything in life is not easy. The key is involvement with the community and not to be self-absorbed; be a selfishless person not selfish. I think thats whats important to the common man without the support of the people then there is no future.
I agree; Howard Handler is an excellent example of a rising young star.
A candidate that is destine for success has to have three things:
People skills 50%
Communication skills 25%
Well groomed appearence 25%
Put it in a bowl and stir! That's- it thats all. I have found that when I really find someone who has these qualities little if anything else really matters. I want to be around them. I understand them and they look good which means that I know they will represent me fairly well. In politics thats all people have time to really care about and all a successful candidate needs to get their vote.
